Mingling with celebrities, of any kind, is not something I often do on a Sunday morning, but that's where I found myself last Sunday, attending Tony Hawk's Stand Up for Skateparks Fundraising Event. For someone who's more taken by old movies, foreign art house films or the Magik Markers (over a band like Blink 182), the event was odd.
