So the latest social media brandtastic firm to hit us up with the coolest interwebs bro-down in all of MyTwitFaceSpace was all about the RedBull project X that YoBeat and Boardistan were hyping over the weekend. It's worth checking out the video but you need to dig into Red Bull Project X to find some of the better stuff. So, now the kitty is out of the bag in a big way with Red Bull Project X. I think the message board chatter last year was how the half pipe was in an avy zone and how spoiled Shaun was. Bottom line, lets be honest, maybe 10 people in the world can ride pipe at his level. So I'm sure all the haters can keep on hating ...

Yes, those long-whispered rumors of White's private halfpipe turned out to be true. It was sculpted last winter on a slope in the Colorado backwoods behind Silverton Mountain. It's where White escaped the "distractions" that shadow him in public pipes throughout the course of a training year.

I love snowboarding. I write about it a lot. It didn’t take me long to run into Project X. You can’t really pay any attention to snowboarding and not know who Shaun White is. So the concept is kinda neat – they built Shaun his own half pipe in the back country. Mostly, it just makes me kind of hate the guy – only only for the shallow reason of jealousy. So many of my friends scrape together to try to afford passes and trips while this guy is being flow in via helicopter to his own private pipe. That might inspire 8 year olds, but it pretty much just makes me bitter.

Project-X was born. Silverton, Colorado is home to some of the best powder in the world. Silverton is not a regular ski resort. There are no similar infrastructure and services as for example in nearby Vail. Silverton is for experienced skiers and riders, and because of that it gets much less traffic than normal ski resorts. Silverton is a perfect spot to keep Shaun s work under wraps. Shaun s giant pipe includes foam pit to which Shaun practices his new tricks. After training Shaun takes his tricks from concept to reality. After couple of months of training Shaun has his bag full of new tricks to be shown to the world.
