Gonz's Circle Board Creation
ESPN: Skateboarding —
Years ago, Mark Gonzales made a short appearance on his circle board creation in Thomas Campbell's "A Love Supreme" short film about NYC skating that he filmed for Supreme skate shop. It was quite spectacularthe kind of thing that made you wish you had a sweet outlet for free product or had saved all your old trucks and boards to bolt your own circle contraption together. As is the case with weird art projects, however, it's just easier to live vicariously through the creator (existential question: is the difference between the contemporary theoretical artistthe kind that makes deities out of dung or performs one act plays naked, while ...

Anthony Pappalardo “Circle Board in NYC”
Europeskate.com —
Anthony Pappalardo recently skated around New York City on a unique skateboard for a short film called Circle Board. That “board” does not look like a very easy ride – recognize the other skater in there, especially the closing scene of the video, nice one! ...

Some recent wonderful things to watch while I am mustering up the energy to make a new clip:
This is one of the best clips to be on the internet in a while. Everything that people have come to love about New York skateboarding without seeming like its trying too hard or channeling the most recent gay cellar door video part. Good times the whole way through. Sure, nobody in New York will ever get on Cliché, but we have more heart than them.
And while we’re on the topic of brilliant soundtrack choices, here’s another one to the sonic musings of the same man, by everyone’s favorite northeastern skateboard ...
Circle Boarding Sounds Like Torture Technique, Turns Out Not To Be
Skateinfusion - skateboard, photography, lifestyle, culture —
Street-skateboarding pioneer and artist, Mark Gonzales, constructed a ridiculous “Circle Board” out of nine skateboards for his exhibit, Round n’ Round, at the Franklin Parrasch Gallery in NYC (ends Nov. 28th).

Mark Gonzalez Makes Giant Circle Skateboard, Breaks NYC Laws

Mark Gonzalez Makes Giant Circle Skateboard, Breaks NYC Laws With a little refinement, this thing could turn into some kind of cult action sport...like snow skating or kiteboarding or extreme ironing. Video is in the comments section. Next >
Gonz Circleboard in Paris
ESPN: Skateboarding —
A couple weeks back, it was Anthony Pappalardo in the Big Apple with the Circle board. Now, with the release of new Krooked product, Gonz skates the circle board in Paris under the Eiffel tower. There's some pretty amazing stuff in heree;ven more proof of Gonz's uncanny ability to make weird awesomelike the straight hampster wheel roll down a six stair. Does anyone remember when Gonz disappeared to live in France for a while? No, well, read about it. Or, just watch the video.
