The Angry Snowboarder — Today was an awesome day up at Loveland. Kelly from Shred Betties gave me a ride to the hill to help her with the Under the Radar film series they're doing. It was cool shredding with new and old friends ripping apart the preseason jibs and all. First off Lovelands Marketing department gets huge props for hooking us all up with passes that was fucking cool. I think the Loveland ski patrol gets some super thanks for putting up with our shenanigans like jumping off building roofs, putting ice boulders in the middle of paths just so we could jib, and the general nonsense that followed. Bear started snowmaking late October 27th, and stacked a fleet of up to 70 guns to make the Central Park run off Chair 5 completely rideable. Bear seems to be playing a different strategy this year, maybe because of the December opening last season. Usually they wait to open the main run from Bear's summit to the bottom, but this year they have minimized to the much smaller Central Park run.
